Description:

"le guano-for the country!"

"...may be this year's most abrasive and adventurous local collection of heavy rock. The trio's fractured style of trashy three-cord punk rock sounds especially creepy, with eerie, unidentifiable noises manufactured in the background."

"...one hell of a nasty rock and roll album."

Band History:

Garage-punk band Le Guano formed as a trio in late 1996, playing mostly parties in rehersal spaces and small clubs. The band eventually included Joe Rowe (of The Glands) in the lineup and released the debut album, For The Country, in May, 1999.

Now defunct, but we have another release forthcoming.

Lineup:

Gennifer Glancy: vocals, bass
Laura Morgan: drums
Scott Dansby: guitar, vocals
Joe Rowe: Keyboards, percussion
